Luke Menzies is an executive and business coach with a specialism in coaching lawyers, other busy professionals and business leaders.

His coaching work is focussed on helping his clients find fulfilment, success and a better balance in their work and their life in general, accompanied by greater self-awareness and deeper emotional intelligence (EQ).  Reduced stress and better relationships also result from his coaching work. 

Luke’s approach to coaching mixes his highly commercial, business-savvy understanding of what it takes to be a successful lawyer with powerful coaching skills.  You will also find him warm, friendly and a great listener. 

Luke quickly gets to the heart of what his clients want and need from their work and their life in general.  Using a range of the latest evidence-based coaching and psychology tools, Luke then helps his clients become significantly more able and effective in their professional and business activities.  During this work, his clients develop an understanding of their personal thinking styles and deepen their (EQ).  

Many clients find this type of coaching work with Luke to be a really transformative experience, leaving them considerably wiser as to how they tick and how to permanently increase their personal effectiveness.  It can provide them with skills that they will benefit from using for the rest of their life – at home and in their relationships, as well as being more successful in their professional career.    

Luke has a Master’s level coaching & mentoring qualification from a leading UK business school and several professional coaching certifications.

He has been a Barrister (England & Wales) since 1996 and a Solicitor (England & Wales) since 2008. He is a specialist employment lawyer and continues to run his high-profile UK law firm, Menzies Law, in addition to his coaching practice. In 2018, he won a major UK national legal sector award for his work in gender pay gap and equal pay law.

Luke’s continuing dual practice as both lawyer and coach gives him great insight and regular opportunities to practice what he preaches!
