Avalyn is a Professional Certified Coach who works with senior leaders in multinational corporations, law firms, and other professional service companies.

Starting her career at a leading law firm in Singapore in 2000, Avalyn built a 20-year career holding a broad range of regional and global roles in branding, marketing, business development, and corporate partnerships prior to becoming a coach. This broad corporate exposure allows her to observe the human and commercial factors that are common across industries, which she distills into her coaching conversations with clients.

Avalyn enjoys coaching clients on their working identity, career transitions (preparation for partnership and senior roles), and leadership development. She starts with an enquiry to bring clarity to her client’s identity, beliefs, and driving forces, and partners with them to explore how these elements affect their decisions, performance, and working relationships. By helping them increase their own self-awareness, she supports them to enhance their focus, communication effectiveness, and impact on teams and organizations.

An avid traveller and personal development enthusiast, Avalyn’s one claim to fame is being a former television actress. She has run a marathon and probably never will again. Avalyn lives in Auckland with her husband, three children, and border collie.
